Regional Office, (ESIC) Employees' State Insurance Corporation, ESI Hospital Complex, Sector-2, Parwanoo (H.P.) invites application from eligible Central/State PWD/Public Sector Undertaking for the post of Stenographer in the ESI Corporation, Himachal Pradesh.

Stenographers (1 Post UR-1)

Pay Scale: Rs.5200/20200/- + Grade Pay Rs.2400/- 

Qualification: 

1. Higher Secondary pass (pass in 12th standard or equivalent from a recognized board)

2. A speed of 80 words per minutes in stenography in (English/Hindi) respectively.

3. Working knowledge of computer including use of Office Suites and database.

Age Limit: 18-27 Years on 21.03.2011

Application Fee: Rs.225/-  DD drawn in favour of “E.S.I. Fund Account No.1” payable at Parwanoo. 

Scheme of Examination: The examination consisting of three parts which will be held at Centre to be intimated to the eligible candidates later at the time of issue of Admit Cards.

Part-I:- The written test will consist of one paper containing 02 parts:-

1. English Language

2. General Awareness. The questions in all the parts will be objective type (Multiple choice) ones.

3. The examination will be of 1 ½ (One & Half )hours' duration.

Part-II: Stenography test at a speed of 80 words per minute in English or Hindi and transcription of the same on computer for one hour.

Part-III: Working knowledge of computer including use of office suites and data base for 30 minutes. Candidates who are successful in Part-I will be admitted to Paper-II and III, based on their performance in Paper-I.

2. The application should also be accompanied with two self-attested photographs showing candidate's name on top of the photograph alongwith self attested Photostat copies of Diploma/Degree and educational qualifications and proof of experience in the related field and caste certificate.

Note:

1. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing for interview

2. Merely fulfilling the minimum prescribed qualifications and experience will not vest any right on a candidate being called for interview.
