(ESIC) Employees' State Insurance Corporation, Panchdeep  Bhawan, C.I.G. Marg, New Delhi invites application from eligible candidates for the post of Teaching Faculty Positions of Associate Professor in Physiology and Associate Professor in Pharmacology for ESI Dental College, Rohini, New Delhi on Direct Recruitment basis.

1. Associate Professor in Physiology (Teaching Faculty (Medical) Sub-Cadre Posts.

Pay Scale: PB-4 with Grade Pay of Rs.8700/- + Non Practicing Allowance.

Qualification:

Essential for Medical Candidates:

1. A recognized medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part-II of the Third Schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of educational qualification included in Part-II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in Section 13(3) of the Act.

2. A post graduate qualification e.g. MD/MS or a recognised qualification equivalent thereto in the respective subject/ discipline.

Essential for Non Medical Candidates:

1. A post graduate qualification i.e. Medical Masters Degree in the concerned subject/ allied discipline.

2. A doctorate degree of a recognised University in the concerned subject/ allied discipline.

Experience:

1. 6 Years of teaching and / or research experience in recognised medical college / institution, in the concerned speciality / subject after obtaining the qualifying degree of (a) M.D./M.S. or qualification equivalent thereto for Medical candidates. (b) Doctorate degree in subject / allied discipline for Non medical candidates.

2. 5 Years teaching experience shall be as Lecturer / Assistant Professor in recognized Medical College in the concerned speciality.

Note: The respective subject/ allied discipline should be as in the Table-I of schedule 1 of the MCI-Minimum Qualifications for teachers in Medical Institutions Regulations. 1988.

2. Associate Professor in Pharmacology

Pay Scale: PB-3 with Grade Pay of Rs.6600/- + Non Practicing Allowance.

Qualification:

Essential for Medical Candidates:

1. A medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part-II of the Third Schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. (Persons possessing qualification included in Part-II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in Section 13(3) of the Act).

2. A post graduate qualification e.g. MD/MS or a recognised qualification equivalent thereto in the respective subject/ discipline.

Experience: 3 Years teaching and / or research experience in recognised institution in the subject of speciality after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.D. / M.S. or qualification recognised equivalent thereto.

Age Limit: Not exceeding 50 Years

Application Fee: Rs.225/- DD drawn in favour of “E.S.I. Fund Account No.1” payable at New Delhi. 

Selection Procedures: The selection for the above posts will be on the basis of interview which will be conducted by the Selection Board at New Delhi. However ESIC reserves the right to change the centre, if need be. The results of the interview will be published in the Newspapers and on the website of the corporation and no inquiry or correspondence in this regard will be entertained.

2. The application should also be accompanied with two self-attested photographs showing candidate's name on top of the photograph alongwith self attested Photostat copies of Diploma/Degree and educational qualifications and proof of experience in the related field and caste certificate.

Note:
