Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC), Panchdeep Bhawan, C.I.G. Marg, New Delhi Recruit Employment for the 99 Post of Insurance Medical Officers (IMO) Grade-II Job Vacancies - March 2011

(ESIC) Employees State Insurance Corporation, Panchdeep  Bhawan, C.I.G. Marg, New Delhi invites ONLINE applications from eligible candidates for the Post of Insurance Medical Officers (IMO) Grade-II in ESI Hospitals in the State of Karnataka, Tamilnadu and Andhra Pradesh.

Insurance Medical Officers (IMO) Grade-II (99 Post)

1. ESI Hospital, Peenya, Karnataka (39 Posts UR-20,SC-5,ST-3,OBC-11)

2. ESI Hospital, Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu (26 Posts UR-14,SC-4,ST-1,OBC-7)

3. ESI Hospital, Sanat  Nagar, Andhra Pradesh (34 Posts UR-16,SC-5,ST-3,OBC-10)

Pay Scale: Pay Band Rs.15600-39100/- + Grade Pay Rs.5400/-  

Age Limit: Not exceeding 30 years as on 31.03.2011

Qualifications:

1. A recognized medical qualification included in the first or second Schedule or Part-II of third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.  Holders of educational qualification included in Part-II of the  Third Schedule should also fulfil the conditions stipulated in Sub-Section (3) of Section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. 

2. Completion of Compulsory rotating internship. 

3. Language test: The candidate shall have to pass a qualifying test of middle standard in official language of the State concerned where the vacancies are notified.  

4. Registration with the Medical Council of India. 

Note: Candidates who have not completed rotating internship shall be eligible to appear for the written examination provided that, if selected, they shall satisfactorily complete the compulsory rotating internship before appointment.

How to Apply:

1. Only System Generated Applications (through website of ESIC) along with the required necessary document  in an envelope super scribed “Application for the post of Insurance Medical Officer Grade-II in ESI Hospital, ___________________ (Name of the State where candidate wants to apply)” should be sent by  Ordinary Post/UPC

2. Two copies of recent passport size photographs duly attested by a Group “A”/ Group “B” / Gazetted Officer with one photograph pasted on the application form.

3. Attested copies of certificates and testimonials in support of proof of age, Date of Birth, Educational qualification, Experience etc.  

Note 1: The system generated hard copy of application and the other documents should be arranged in the following order one below the other and tightly tagged or stapled on the left hand side top corner. 

1. Additional Photograph. 

2. Application Form. 

3. Attested copies of certificates. 

4. Self addressed envelopes. 

Note 2: The Demand Draft should not be tagged or stapled, but should be pinned or clipped at the top of the application form. The name and address of the candidates should be written on the reverse side of the Demand Draft. 

IMPORTANT NOTE: Only  system  generated  hard  copy  of  online application with unique serial number (through website of ESIC at www.esic.nic.in  ) should be submitted along with other documents. Candidates can generate / submit their online application up to 21/03/2011 (up to 5.00 PM). The link of making online application will not be available after 05.00 PM on 21/03/2011.

Mode of Selection: The selection for the post of Insurance Medical Officer Grade-II  will be made on the basis of written test [Part – I - Objective Test (to assess professional knowledge) and Part - II - Descriptive Test in Official Language of the state concerned where the candidate wants to apply which will be of qualifying nature] followed by interview of those candidates who qualify the written test.  The result of the written test and result after interview will be published in Employment News/Rozgar Samachar or any other national /local daily and no inquiry or correspondence in this regard will be entertained.

Note: 

1. The vacancies advertised above are subject to increase or decrease solely on the discretion of E.S.I. Corporation.

2. Age relaxation for respective categories shall be as per rules.

3. No TA/DA will be paid to any candidate including SC/ST candidates for appearing in the written test.
