Railway Recruitment Cell, East Coast Railway Announced Corrigendum for Extension of Last Date of Applications.

CORRIGENDUM

RRC, East Coast Railway

With reference to the Employment Notification No.ECoR/RRC/D/2010 dtd.17.12.2010 published in Employment News dtd.22.01.2011, candidates are advised to note the following changes:

1. The last date for receiving applications is extended for one month from 17.02.2011 i.e. upto 17.03.2011.

2. Para-9(i) of the employment notification is modified as under:-

a) The recruitment procedure will consist of Written Test followed by PET (Physical Efficiency Test) of candidates found successful in Written Test.

b) The written examination can be attempted in languages English, Hindi, Urdu, Telugu and Oriya.

c) The number of candidates who will be called for PET(Physical Efficiency Test) will be decided by the Railway Administration and will be notified at the time of publication of written test results.

There will be no interview. Final empanelment of the candidates of the required number of vacancies will be strictly on merit position obtained in the written examination and qualified in PET duly following the community reservation rules for earmarked quotas specified in this notification and their passing  the medical examination of the prescribed standard and document/ Certificate verification.
