Eastern Railway, Kolkata given notice for partial modification in recruitment procedure.

CORRIGENDUM

RRC, EASTERN RAILWAY

FOR PARTIAL MODIFICATION IN RECRUITMENT PROCEDURE

As per Employment Notice No-0110 for Recruitment in Pay Band-I Rs.5200-20200/- with GP Rs.1800/- (UR, SC, ST, OBC and PWD) on ER, Metro Rly. and CLW was issued on 14/12/2010, it was indicated in Para-16.1 that Physical Efficiency Test (PET) is the first event/the qualifying examination of the candidates followed by Written Test for Physical Efficiency Test (PET) qualified candidates.

Now it is brought to the notice of all concerned that Recruitment procedure will now consist of Written Test followed by PET (Physical Efficiency Test) of candidates found successful in Written Test.

For the above change, the Closing Date of accepting application has been extended to 25/3/2011 upto 17.00 hrs. for all the candidates except the candidates belonging to Andaman & Nicobar and Lakshdweep Islands. For candidates belonging to Andaman & Nicobar and Lakshdweep Islands, the extended closing date for receipt of application has been fixed on 11.4.2011 upto 17.00 hrs.
