Ministry of Health & Family Welfare (MOHFW) , Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), Government of India, New Delhi Recruit for the Post of Technical Consultant (TC) for the Establishment of Pilot Programme for Prevention of Burn Injuries (PPPBI) - March 2011

(DGHS) Directorate General of Health Services, (MOHFW) Ministry of Health & Family Welfare,  Government of India, New Delhi invites application from eligible candidates in contractual basis for the post of (TC) Technical Consultant for the establishment of Pilot Programme for Prevention of Burn Injuries (PPPBI). 

Technical Consultant - PPPBI:

Qualification: The candidate should posses Post Graduate (Med/Non-Medical).

Desirable: Post Graduate in (Public Health/Hospital Administration/MBA).

Experience: The candidate should have at least 3-5 years experience in Health Sector. 

Age Limit: The candidate should not be more than 65 years of age. 

Remuneration: Consolidated Salary will be Rs. 40,000 per month.

Period of Contract: The period of contract will be initially for One Year which will likely to be extended further.  TA/DA, leaves etc, will be admissible as per Govt of India Norms.  

Terms of Reference of Technical Consultant will be:

1. To assist in implementation of the programme. 

2. Interacting/Liasioning with the Central/State officials. 

3. Organizing Central/State level meetings. 

4. Carrying out visits to states/districts for monitoring implementation of the programme. 

Moreover, specific deliverables for the technical consultant include: 

1. Implement programme in identified States. 

2. Co-ordinate and develop liasioning with the states. 

3. Prepare operational guidelines for the programme. 

4. Develop proposal for activities to be taken up under the programme. 

5. Monitor & Supervise programme activities by conducting visits to states & district. 

6. Compile data and bring out regular progress report of the programme.
