(NACO) National AIDS Control Organisation, (MOHFS) Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Department of AIDS Control, New Delhi invites application from eligible candidates on contract basis for the Post of (TO) Technical Officer - Blood Safety (BS).

Technical Officer (TO) - Blood Safety (BS)

Qualification: MBBS from a recognized medical college 

Desirable: MD (Transfusion Medicine/Pathology) 

Experience:

1. Working knowledge of English and Hindi,

2. Excellent communication skill, both written and verbal.

3. Good knowledge of computers.

Nature of Duties:

1. Liaise with and co-ordination with SACS for regular updating the Blood Safety activities.

2. Monitoring progress and Liaise with SACS for setting up new District Level Blood Banks, BCSUs & Model Blood Banks.

3. To undertake and visits to Blood Component Separation Units and   District Level Blood Banks in all the States.

4. Collate and analyze all data as received in SIMS as well as fact sheets as received from States. Submit monthly, quarterly reports and annual Blood Safety reports to the reporting officer.

5. Collate and analyze all data of stock position of kits and consumables as received from SACS. To submit monthly, quarterly reports and annual stock position to the reporting officer. 

6. Preparation of Assessment plan, Co-ordination with the JD / DD (BS) of SACS and Technical Experts in Transfusion Medicine for Assessment of NACO supported Blood Banks, compilation of reports and follow up action. 

7. Preparation of agenda items, conduct meetings and follow up action for Blood Safety review meetings. 

8. Any other work assigned by Assistant Director General (BS) or National Programme Officer (BS).  

Remuneration: Consolidated Rs.28,750-50,000/- PM (depending upon experience). 

Period of Contract: Initial contract shall be for  One Year. Subsequent re-contracting will be based on performance. 

Place of Posting: New Delhi 

Age Limit: Not more than 60 years
