Pay Scale: Rs.5200-20200/- + Grade Pay Rs.1800/- for Tradesman & Rs.5200-20200/- + Grade Pay Rs.1900/- for LDC

Qualification:

1. For Industrial Employee: Matriculation or NCTVT certificate in relevant trades respectively failing which by ITI or equivalent Diploma / Certificate holder.

2. For Lower Divisional Clerk (LDC): 12th Class or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University, Skill Test Norms ‘only on Computers’. Having typing speed of 35 words per minute in English OR 30 words per minute in Hindi on computer.

Age Limit: 18-32 Years for Tradesmen & 18-27 Years for Lower Division Clerk. Age relaxation for respective categories shall be as per rules.

Selection Procedures: 

1. The selection will be made strictly on the basis of merit.

2. Selection process will comprise of Written Test and Trade Test (Practical) for Tradesmen & Typing Test for LDC.

3. In selection process, other things being equal.

How to Apply:

1. Eligible applicants are required to apply On-line only. The "ON-line Application Form" will be available on Ordnance Factory Kanpur website http://www.ofkanpur.gov.in/

2. The candidates should fill up all the columns in the online application, then click SUBMIT button and take a printout of their submitted application.

3. After taking printout of the ‘filled’ online application, the candidates should forward a copy of the same alongwith all required testimonials/documents addressed to “The Sr. General Manager, Ordnance Factory, Kalpi Road, Kanpur (UP) Pin-208 009.”

4. Name of the post must be clearly superscribed/written on the top of the envelope in capital letters. For example – FOR THE POST OF MACHINIST (SEMI SKILLED)

Important Dates: 

1. Starting Date for Online Registration: 02.11.2013

2. Last Date for Online Registration: 23.11.2013

Note: 

1. 17 Posts reserved for Physically Handicapped and 54 Posts reserved for Ex-serviceman will be adjusted by Horizontal Reservation i.e. the selected candidates will be adjusted against the categories of SC/ST/OBC/GEN to which they belong.

2. Vacancies of Ex-Servicemen and PWD/PHP are not separate but included in the total no. of vacancies.

3. The Sr.General Manager, OFC reserves the right to restrict the number of candidates to be called for trade test to reasonable limit.

4. The schedule of Date of Downloading the Admit Card and Written Examination will be notified on website http://www.ofkanpur.gov.in/. In case of any change in schedule of dates, the same will be made available on the website..
