Mandatory Skills : Tivoli Monitoring

Base Activities :

• Monitor IGS managed hardware & software during in-scope service hours

• Administer and/or execute the contracted Service Management processes and procedures

• Perform basic problem determination on systems and components managed by IBM Global Services:

Performed by PCM, Configuration Management, SARM (including TEM Tivoli Endpoint Manager) and Enterprise Automation Distributed (Monitoring & Event

management).

• Provide information for changes affecting the server environment

• Evaluate planned changes to the server environment and advise of any requirements to support such changes

• Maintenance of the capacity reporting tool

• Creation and maintenance of performance data stores

• Perform required batch setup activities (adhoc requests)

• Monitor Up/Down status of system processes.

• Monitor and respond to system alerts and events

• Monitor and respond to hardware alerts and events

• Monitor and maintain system error logs

• Perform System Recycles per predefined Short Term Operational Schedule and maintenance window

• Take the appropriate, predefined recovery actions for the various operational events

• Restart failing components after an outage

• Record and routing problems to appropriate support groups

• Provide operational status as required

• System health checks for the Configuration Management tools (TADDM, CCMDB, ITIC, and others)

• Configuration Management Discovery Service / Tivoli Application Dependency Discovery Manager(TADDM)

• Experience working on any of these tools- ITM, TEM, TADDM, Omnibus, Netcool, TBSM

Premium Activities :

• Monitoring and responding to application alerts

• Monitoring and responding to application file system space issues

Positions are based out of NOIDA location.
