5. Fitter Instrument (3 Posts UR-2,SC-1)

6. Machinist (16 Posts UR-6,SC-5,ST-1,OBC-4)

7. Millwright (4 Posts UR-4)

8. Moulder (8 Posts UR-4,SC-1,OBC-3)

Pay Scale: Rs.5200-20200/- + Grade Pay Rs.1800/-

Qualification: Passed Matriculation or equivalent examination, NCVT Certificate in relevant trade failing which by ITI or equivalent Diploma/Certificate holder

Age Limit: 18-32 years. Age relaxation for respective categories shall be as per rules.

Selection Procedures:

1. Selection will be made strictly on the basis of merit.

2. The selection process will comprise of Written Test of 100 marks and Trade Test (Practical) 100 marks.

3. All eligible candidates will be called for an Objective Type Written Test

4. On the basis of merit of Written Test marks, candidates will called for Trade Test.

5. Trained Ex-Trade apprentices of MSF and sister Ordnance Factories shall be given preference in the order in which they are stated.

Application Fee: Rs.50/- DD or Postal Order drawn in favour of The General Manager, Metal & Steel Factory (MSF) payable at Kolkata.

3.Selection will be made Strictly Based on the Merit Position drawn from the Written Test & Trade Test of the candidates. 

4.The post reserved for Ex-Servicemen and OH,HH will be filled in either of the relevant trades as per the availability and seniority as per overall merit.
