Ministry of Agriculture, Department of Animal Husbandry, Dairying and Fisheries, Krishi Bhavan, New Delhi invites applications from the eligible candidates for the Group 'A' post of Assistant Commissioner (Fisheries) on transfer on deputation (Including short-term contract basis).

Assistant Commissioner (Fisheries) - 1 Post

Pay Scale: Rs.15600-39100/- + Grade Pay: Rs.6600/-.

Eligibility: Officers of the Central /State Governments /Agricultural Universities /ICAR /Autonomous Bodies and Corporation.

1) Holding analogous post; or

2) With five year’s service in posts in the scale of pay of Rs.15600-39100-5400 (G.P.) (revised) Rs.8000-275-13500/-(Pre-revised) or equivalent; and

3) Possessing the following educational qualifications and experience:-

Essential:

1) Master’s degree in Zoology of a recognised university or Associate Diploma in Fisheries Science of CIFE.

2) 5 years experience in Fisheries Development or Applied Fisheries Research of Fisheries Extension.

Desirable: Doctorate in Zoology

Age Limit: The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation (including short-term contract shall be not exceeding 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of applications)
