Indian Institute of Vegetable Research (IIVR), Varanasi Recruit Job Vacancies for the Post of Lower Division Clerk (LDC), Stenographer & Technical/Assistant - Mar 2011

(IIVR) Indian Institute of Vegetable Research, Varanasi invites applications from eligible candidates for the post of Lower Division Clerk (LDC), Stenographer & Technical/Assistant (Field/Farm). 

1. Stenographer (1 Post SC-1)

Pay Scale: PB-I Rs.5200-20200/- + Grade Pay Rs.2400/-

Age: 18-27 Years

Qualification: Matriculation and Knowledge of Computer

Professional Efficiency:

1. The candidates will be given one dictation test in English or in Hindi at 80 w.p.m. for 10 minutes.

2. The candidates who opt to take the test in English will be requires to transcribe the matter in 65 minutes on manual typewriter or 50 minutes on computer.

3. The candidates who opt to take the test in Hindi will be required to transcribe the matter in 75 minutes on manual typewriter or 65 minutes on computer.

2. Lower Division Clerk (LDC) (1 Post SC-1)

Pay Scale : PB-I Rs.5200-20200/- + Grade Pay Rs.1900/-

Age: 18-27 Years

Qualification: Matriculation or its equivalent

Essential:
1. Proficiency at a minimum speed of 35 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi Typing on Computers.
2. 35 w.p.m. correspond to 10500 KDPH/9000 KDPH on an average of 5 key depressions for each word.

Desirable:
1. 12th Class or equivalent from a recognized board or university.
2. Proficiency in Computer operations.

3. Technical Assistant T-3 (Field/Farm) (1 Post OBC-1)

Pay Scale: PB-I Rs.5200-20200/- + Grade Pay Rs.2800/-

Age: 18-30 Years

Qualification: Bachelor degree in Agriculture from a recognised University

Selection Procedures: Written examination will be conducted for the candidates.  Candidates who pass the written part of the exam would be required to qualify in a typing test with a minimum speed of 30 w.p.m. in English or 25 w.p.m. in Hindi as part of the examination.

1.Applications duly typed in A-4 paper and neatly handwritten in block letters in the prescribed format only.

2.Applications along with two self attested photographs and the attested photocopies of all the relevant documents.

3.Copies of certificates (attested by a Gazetted Officer) in proof of age, educational qualification, typewriting, experience, caste status (in the case of SC certificate issued by the Competent Authority) should be sent alongwith the application.

Note:
