Job Vacancies in (DGQA) Director General of Quality Assurance (Stores) , Department of Defence Production (DDP), (SQAE) Senior Quality Assurance Establishment (GS), Ministry of Defence, Government of India, DGQA Complex, Palavanthangal PO, Chennai-600114 invites applications from eligible candidates for the employment Post of Stenographer III.

Stenographer III (1 Post UR-1)

Pay Scale: PB-I Rs.5200-20200/- + Grade Pay Rs.2400/-

Age: 18-27 Years

Qualification: Matriculation and Knowledge of Computer

Professional Efficiency:

1. The candidates will be given one dictation test in English or in Hindi at 80 w.p.m. for 10 minutes.

2. The candidates who opt to take the test in English will be requires to transcribe the matter in 65 minutes on manual typewriter or 50 minutes on computer.

3. The candidates who opt to take the test in Hindi will be required to transcribe the matter in 75 minutes on manual typewriter or 65 minutes on computer.

Period of Probation: 2 Years in case of direct recruits only.

Place of Work: Senior Quality Assurance Establishment (Engg. Eqpt.), DGQA Complex, Palavanthangal (PO), Chennai-600114, Tamil Nadu.

1. Applications duly typed in A4 paper neatly hand written in the prescribed format.

2. Applications submitted with attested copies of the relevant certificates, Educational Qualification, Proof of Date of Birth, Sports Certificates, Caste Certificate, Mark Sheet.

3. Candidates should be superscribed the name of the post with category on the TOP of the envelope of size 30 x 12cm with postal stamp or Rs.5/- affixed.

4. Candidates are instructed to enclose 3 recent passport size photographs out of which one duly affixed on the application form and attested by a Gazetted Officer.

Selection Procedures:

1. The selection of candidates will be based on merit list drawn on the basis of Written Examination,Interview and Medical fitness.

2. The venue of the Written Test / Interview, Date and Time shall be intimated later.
