b). Technician A (Lab) - 4 Posts

Qualification: 10+2 with Science subjects or equivalent from a recognized board with one year Certificate in Medical Laboratory Technology.
Desirable: Experience in tuberculosis bacteriology (Mycobacteriology) work.

Age Limit: 35 Years
Qualification: MBBS, MD (Microbiology) or M. Sc (Medical Microbiology/Applied Microbiology/ Life Sciences) with M. Phil/Ph.D or M. Sc (Medical Microbiology/Applied Microbiology/Life Sciences) With 5 years’ experience.
Desirable: Experience in tuberculosis bacteriology (Mycobacteriology) with research publications.
b). Senior Lab Technician - 1 Post
Consolidated Pay: Rs.15000/-
Age Limit: 35 Years
Qualification: B. Sc (Microbiology) or B. Sc (MLT) or DMLT or equivalent with 3 years experience in TB Culture and DST.
Desirable: 2 years’ experience in tuberculosis bacteriology (Mycobacteriology).
General Instruction:
1. Knowledge in Tamil is a desirable qualification for all the posts
2. The selected candidates will be posted to work anywhere in India
3. The appointments will be purely temporary or on contract basis on a consolidated salary for a period of one year only or till the completion of the study whichever is earlier. The appointee will not have any claim for a regular post in the Institute or in any Department of GOI, or under TRC/ICMR or continuation of his/her services in any other study.
4. Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates will be as per Govt of India norms.
5. TRC reserves the right not to fill any or all the posts without assigning any reason. The numbers of vacancies shown are only tentative.
6. Mere possession of the educational qualifications and requisite experience will not entail any right for selection.
7. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview
8. The competent authority reserves the right to select the candidate or refuse any or all the candidates at his discretion without any reason.
9. Any canvassing by or on behalf of the candidates or to bring political or other outside influence with regard to selection / recruitment shall be a disqualification.
9. The Director in Charge reserves the right to shortlist candidates depending upon number of applications
Note:
1. Candidates submit the application form before 10 AM on the interview date.
2. Candidates attend the interview along with all original certificates from Matriculation onwards, certificates of experience, list of publications etc.
3. Submit the application with passport size photograph and attested copies of relevant certificates.
4. Separate applications should be submitted for each post project wise on the interview date only.
5. Late entries will not be entertained.
