Northern Railway announced Extension of Last Date for Submission of Applications and Modification in process of Recruitment.
Filling up the posts of Grade Pay Rs.1800/- in Pay Bank Rs.5200-20200/- advertised vide Employment Notice No.220-E/Open Mkt./RRC/2010, Dated: 17.12.2010.
1.(a) Northern Railway had invited applications for filling up of 11439 vacancies for the various posts of Grade Pay Rs.1800/- in PB-1 from Open Market for which advertisement appeared in the Employment News/Rozgar Samachar in tis Edition dated January 01-07, 2011 and in National dailies on 18.12.2010. Now , the last date of submission of application has been further extended by 30 days.
(b) Filled in applications in the prescribed proforma, with copies of the requisite documents duly enclosed should now reach to Asstt. Personnel Officer, Railway Recruitment Cell, Lajpat Nagar-1, New Delhi up to 17:00 hrs. on 19.03.2011 and for the residents of Asam, Maghalaya, Manipur, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Jammu & Kashmir, Lahaul & Spiti districts and Panji sub-division of Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh and Anadaman & Nicobar, Lakshadweep islands will be 04.04.2011 up to 17:00 hrs. 2.In partial modification in the mode of Recruitment (Para 6 of above advertisement), it has now been decided by the competent authority that recruitment procedure will consist of Written Test followed by PET (Physical Efficiency Test) of candidates found successful in written test. All concerned are hereby advised to take note of it.
