Andhra Pradesh Grameena Vikas Bank Proposed Recruitment of Officer Scale-I - Group “A” (73 Posts)


Andhra Pradesh Grameena Vikas Bank invites applications from Indian Citizens for the post of 73 Officer Scale-I - Group “A”. Pay Scale - Rs. 14500-600/7-18700-700/2-20100-800/7-25700 and at present the total starting emoluments are approx  Rs. 22000/-  per month inclusive of DA & HRA at the current rate. 

Candidates are requested to apply ONLY through online between 01.02.2011 and 17.02.2011 and advised to follow the sequence of steps given in Andhra Pradesh Grameena Vikas Bank’s website http://www.apgvb.com

Online Registration:
1. Opening Date: 01.02.2011
2. Closing Date: 17.02.2011
3. Date of Written Examination: 10.04.2011

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor Degree of a recognized university in any discipline or its equivalent.
2. Proficiency in Telugu is essential.
3. Knowledge of English required
4. Knowledge of Computer Skills and awareness

Age Limits:  18-26 years will be reckoned as on 01.01.2011.

Application Fee: Rs 500/-

Selection Process: The selection of the candidates shall be made on the basis of written test and interview. The written test will comprise Objective Type Tests on Reasoning Ability, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness with special reference to Banking Industry, Computer Knowledge & English Language.

Note:  
1. The number of vacancies as also the number of reserved vacancies  are provisional and may vary according  to the actual requirement of the Bank

2. Candidates selected for current vacancies shall be taken into the service in the descending order of merit as per the requirement of the Bank. 

3. Candidates will have to produce a hard copy of the application form along with the certificates (photocopy for submission and originals for verification) at the time of interview

4. The advertisement notifying the vacancies is also available on Bank’s website http://www.apgvb.com. Candidates are advised to remain in touch with Bank’s website for any notification which may be put for further information.

5. Candidates should keep the  ‘Candidate’s Copy’ of the remitted Challan with them and produce the same at the time of the written test along with the latest passport size photograph.

6.Candidates in their own interest are advised to submit their application online well in time before the last date to avoid possible technical snags.

7.The Bank reserves the right to cancel any of the Centre /or add other Centers, depending on the response, administrative feasibility etc. The Bank also reserves the right to allot the candidate any Centre other than the one he/she has opted for and the right to waive any of the criteria for selection looking at the requirement and exigencies.
