Allahabad Bank Proposed Recruitment of Probationary Officers in JMG Scale -I (1500 Posts)


Allahabad Bank invites applications from Indian Citizens for the post of 1000 Probationary Officer in Junior Management Grade Scale - I.Pay Scale - Rs.14500–25700 and other admissible allowances like plus DA, HRA, CCA as per rules in force from time to time.  

Candidates are requested to apply ONLY through online between 01.02.2011 and 01.03.2011 and advised to follow the sequence of steps given in Allahabad Bank’s website http://www.allahabadbank.in

Online Registration:
1. Opening Date: 01.02.2011
2. Closing Date: 01.03.2011
3. Date of Written Examination:  17.04.2011

Qualifications:
1. Graduation  from a recognised university  with minimum 55% Marks.
2. Computer qualification essential like diploma in computer operation from NIIT, SSI, Aptech, CMC, DOEACC course / certificate (O/A/B/C) level etc. etc..
3. The date of passing the examination which reckons for eligibility will be the date appearing on the Mark Sheet or Provisional Certificate.

Age Limits:  The age limit will be minimum 21 years and maximum 30  years, and will be reckoned as on 01.01.2011.

Application fee:
(a) For SC/ST/ Physically Challenged  - Rs 50/-
(b) For all others (including OBC)    - Rs 400/-

Selection Process:
The written test will comprise Objective Tests on (i) Test of Reasoning Ability, (ii) Quantitative Aptitude, (iii) General Awareness with special reference to Banking Industry, (iv) Computer Knowledge & (v) English Language.

1. Probation period for Probationary Officers - Two years'
2. The advertisement notifying the vacancies is also available on Bank’s website www.allahabadbank.in and candidates are advised to remain in touch with Bank’s website for any notification which may be put for further information 
3. Requisite Application fee may be paid at any branch of the Allahabad Bank only in Current A/C No. 50048377141 from 01.02.2011 to 01.03.2011
4. Candidates are advised to only enter percentage of marks in the online application form.
5. Candidates should not send the printout of the online application to the Allahabad Bank and should submit the candidate’s copy of Payment Receipt along with the call letter at the time of written examination failing which the candidate will not be admitted for the written examination.  
6. The Allahabad Bank reserves the right to alter written examination date and / or alter /add written examination centre under unforeseen circumstances, if any.
