Desired Skills :

# Candidates must have minimum 2 to 4 years of relevant experience

# NO Fresher profiles will be entertained

Job Description:

# Relevant training/mock project or work experience in development and/or testing role

# Good development/scripting skills in JAVA, J2EE, web services, etc.

# Database knowledge, mainly in Oracle or MySQL

# Good experience with different Operating Systems, with emphasis on Unix variants

# Fair understanding of object oriented programming, J2EE architecture, etc.

# Must be flexible, independent and self-motivated

# Working knowledge in assurance COTS products (Netcool/Zenoss/Infovista/Solanwinds) would be an added advantage

# Good Verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities:

# Interact with development teams to develop a strong understanding of the project and testing objectives

# Prepare test cases and scripts ot address business and technical use cases

# Use exiting tools and techniques to execute test cases

# Develop new tools/scripts for performing testing 

# Execute test cases and analyze test results

# Participate in troubleshooting and triaging of issues with different teams for root cause identification and resolution

# Document, track and escalate issues as appropriate
