Thane, Maharashtra, PIN-421502 publishes notice for recruitment of tradesmen invites job vacancy applications from the eligible candidates for the employment Semi-skilled Group 'C' posts of Electrician, Examiner, Machinist & Millwright (149 Posts). Advertisement No.OFA/LB/IEs/DR/SS/2012-13.
1. Electrician (14 Posts UR-8,SC-1,ST-1,OBC-4)
2. Examiner (25 Posts UR-14,SC-3,ST-2,OBC-6)
3. Machinist (89 Posts UR-48,SC-9,ST-8,OBC-24)
4. Millwright (21 Posts UR-11,SC-2,ST-2,OBC-6)
Pay Scale: Rs.5200-20200/- + Grade Pay Rs.1800/-
Qualification: Matriculation or NCTVT certificate in relevant trades respectively failing which by ITI or equivalent Diploma / Certificate holder.
Age Limit: 18-32 Years, Age relaxation for respective categories shall be as per rules.
Selection Procedures:
1. The selection will be made strictly on the basis of merit.
2. Selection process will comprise of Written Test and Trade Test (Practical).
3. In selection process, other things being equal.
Application Fee: Rs.50/- DD or Postal Order drawn favour of The Sr.General Manager, Ordnance Factory Ambarnath (OFA) payable at Maharashtra.
How to Apply:
1. Eligible applicants are required to apply On-line only. The "ON-line Application Form" will be available on Ordnance Factory Board's website www.ofb.gov.in through the link “Recruitment in Ordnance Factory, Ambarnath. Apply On-line Semi-Skilled Tradesman”.
2. Application received through any other mode will not be accepted under any condition.
3. Detailed Instructions for filling of online application shall be displayed through the link on website www.ofb.gov.in.
4. Candidates are requested to read the instructions thoroughly before filling the online application & confirm the successful submission after filing the application.
Note:
1. 8 Posts reserved for PHP/PWD and Ex-serviceman.
2. Vacancies of Ex-Servicemen and PWD/PHP are not separate but included in the total no. of vacancies.
3. Candidates having NAC / NTC in the trade of Machinist will be considered for the post of Machinist and Examiner.
4. Millwright to be selected from the trades of MMTM
3. The General Manager, OFA reserves the right to restrict the number of candidates to be called for trade test to reasonable limit.
4. The schedule of Date of Downloading the Admit Card and Written Examination will be notified on website www.ofb.gov.in. In case of any change in schedule of dates, the same will be made available on the website..
5. Ordnance Factory Ambarnath also warned candidates to avoid any unscrupulous elements who may assure appointment in OFA by seeking bribe in cash or in kind or any other inducement, and are advised not to fall in their trap.
