Government of India, Ministry of Defence, Employment Notice, Recruitment in 17 Field Ammunition Depot (FAD), PIN-909717, C/O 56 APO invites applications from eligible candidates for the Group 'C' Posts of Fireman & Mazdoor.
(A). Fireman (9 Posts Gen-5,OBC-2,SC-2)
Pay Scale: Rs.5200-20200/- + Grade Pay Rs.1900/-
Qualification: Matriculation and equivalent examination from a recognized Board.
Age Limit: 18-25 Years, Age relaxation for respective categories shall be as per rules.
Selection Procedures:
Physical Standards: Must be Physically fit and capable of performing strenuous duties.
1. Height without shoes: 165 cms
2. Chest: Unexpanded-81.5cms, Expansion-85cms
3. Weight: 50 kgs minimum
Endurance Test:
1. Running 1.5 km run in 6 minutes
2. Carrying a man (Fireman lift of 63.5kgs to distance of 183 metres withing 96 seconds).
3. Clearing 2.7 metres wide ditch landing on both feet (Long Jump).
4. Climbing 3 metres vertical rope using Hands & Feet.
5. Passing a timed run.
6. Passing of written test.
Other Test:
1. 2400 Mtrs Run
2. Sit Ups
3. Chin Ups
4. Oral Test
5. Medical Test
(B). Mazdoor (11 Posts Gen-6,OBC-2,SC-3)
Pay Scale: Rs.5200-20200/- + Grade Pay Rs.1800/-
Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent and Knowledge of Hindi
Age Limit: 18-25 Years, Age relaxation for respective categories shall be as per rules.
Essential: Physical Fitness - Must be physically fit and capable of performing strenuous duties and must have passed the test specified below (a) Passing a timed run (b) Physical endurance tests (c) Passing of Written Test
Endurance Test: To carry a bundle of 50 kgs fro a distance of 150 meters.
Note:
1. Physical Tests/Written Test/ Interview for all categories will be intimated in CALL LETTERS.
2. Applications are invited on plain paper A-4 size duly typed on neatly handwritten.
3. Attested copies of certificate pertaining to Academic & Professional qualification, Date of Birth, Cast certificate, Domicile certificate, Discharge Certificate, Physical Handicapped Certificate, Certificate of Meritorious, Medical certificate from a registered Medical Practitioner for physical standards duly attested by a Gazetted Officer must be enclosed with the application.
4. Application will be accepted only through Registered Post only.
5. Depot will not be responsible for any postal delay.
6. Affixing two latest passport size photographs duly attested by Gazetted Officer - One on right hand corner of application and one on acknowledgement Card.
7. Envelope should be clearly marked Application for the Post of ..................with categories.
8. One self addressed envelope affixed with Rs.22/- postage stamps should be attached along with the application for return Acknowledgement Card.
9. Mazdoor vacancies are reserved 1 Post for Ex-Servicemen, 1 Post for PH and 1 Post for Sportsman.
