Scale of Pay/Grade:
1. S-3 grade in the Scale of Pay of Rs.9160-3%-13150/- for Operator-cum-Technician Trainee (OCTT).
2. S-1 grade in the Scale of Pay of Rs.8630-3%-12080/- for Attendant-cum-Technician Trainee (ACTT).
Qualification:
1. Operator-cum-Technician Trainee (OCTT) need Matriculation with 3 years full time Diploma in Engineering in the discipline of Metallurgy/ Chemical/ Mechanical/ Electrical/ Instrumentation/ Electronics from a Govt. recognized institute.
2. Attendant-cum-Technician Trainee (ACTT) need Matriculation with ITI (Full time) in the trades of Fitter/ Electrician/ Welder/ Electronics from a Govt. recognized institute.
Age Limit: 18-28 years. Age relaxation for respective categories shall be as per rules.

Selection Process:
1. Eligible candidates will be required to appear in the Written Test in Hindi/ English.
2. Candidates short listed on the basis of their performance in the Written Test will be required to appear in the Interview.
3. Date, Time & Place of the Written Test and Interview will be intimated to eligible / shortlisted candidates through e-mail and SAIL website (www.sail.co.in).

1. Candidates belonging to General/OBC category will be required to pay application fee of:

3. Rs.150/- for the post of Attendant-cum- Technician (Trainee)
4. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD/ESM category will be required to pay processing fee of Rs.50/- for the post of Operator-cum-Technician (Trainee) / Attendant-cum-Technician (Trainee).
5. In addition to the application / processing fee as above, candidates will be required to pay an amount of Rs.20/- as Bank Charges.
6. State Bank of India (SBI) has been authorised to collect the application / processing fee in a specially opened Power Jyoti Account No. 31955226331 at SBI, RSP Campus Branch, Rourkela, on behalf of SAIL/RSP

Note:
1. Candidates selected for the above posts will be required to undergo, on the job training, for a period of 2 (two) years, which can be extended for a further period of 2 (two) years, as per requirement.
