South Central Railway (SCR), Government of India, Indian Railways, Vijayawada Division, Pin-520001 Recruit Employment for the Erstwhile Group 'D' Posts against Scouts & Guides Quota Job Vacancies - February 2013

Applications are invited from eligible sports persons for filling up of the vacancies in Erstwhile Group D categories against Scouts & Guides Quota South Central Railway (SCR), Vijayawada Division-520001. Employment Notice No. 1/2012.

Discipline: Erstwhile Group "D"

Specialization: 2 Posts

Qualification: Passed Matriculation or ITI or equivalent.

Pay Band: Rs.5200-20200 Grade Pay: 1800 

Age Limit: 18 to 33 years, Age relaxation for respective categories shall be as per rules.

Eligibility : The candidates should fulfill the following norms for recruitment against Scouts & Guides quota.

1. A President’s Scout/Guide/Rover/Ranger OR Himalayan Wood Badge Holder OR Pre HWB Trained Scout Leader/Advanced Trained Guide/Leader/Captain.

2. Should have been an active member of Scout Organization for at least last 3 years in recent past (i.e 2009-2010, 2010-2011, 2011-2012) and should continue to be active.

3. Should have attended at least one event at National Level and one or Two events at State level or should have a good record of participation in Scouts/Guides Activities at unit/District level.

Examination Fee: Rs.40/-  A crossed Indian Postal Order/Bank Demand Draft drawn in favour of Senior Divisional Personnel Officer, South Central Railway, Vijayawada-520001.

Selection Process: Selection of the candidates will be by written Test, consisting of objective type questions relating to Scouts & Guides Organization and its activities, followed by Personality Test/Interview.

How to apply:

1. Application should be filled by the candidate in his/her own handwriting in either English or in Hindi.

2. Application should be on a good quality A-4 size paper using one side only.

3. News paper cutting should not be used as an application.

4. The candidate should send attested photocopies of certificate of Date of birth, Educational qualification, Certificates in support of Scouting and Communities Certificates.

4. 2 passport size colour photograph should be pasted in the space provided on the application

5. Complete application should be sent by Ordinary post only 

6. The self addressed with Rs.25/- postage stamp affixed envelope size 12x27cms containing along with the application must be superscribed as "Application for Erstwhile Group 'D' Post against Scouts & Guides quota.

Photographs:

1. One Photo should be pasted in top of the application with Duly signed

2. Two Photo copies Stapled with the application.

Note:

1. The selected candidates should be physically and medically fit to carry out their assigned duties.
