Parliament of India, Joint Recruitment Cell invites applications for Lok Sabha Secretariat from eligible candidates for the Posts of Executive/Legislative/Committee/Protocol Assistant, Security Assistant, Junior Library Assistant and Junior Clerk (96 Posts) - February 2013

Parliament of India, Joint Recruitment Cell invites applications from eligible Indian citizens to fill up the vacancies for the following posts in Lok Sabha Secretariat,

1. Executive/Legislative/Committee/Protocol Assistant

Vacancies: 4 Posts UR-3,ST-1

Pay Scale: PB-2 Rs.9300-34800 + Grade Pay Rs.4600

Age Limit: 18-27 Years, Age relaxation for respective categories shall be as per rules.

2. Security Assistant Grade-II (Technical)

Vacancies: 52 Posts UR-28,OBC-14,SC-7,ST-3

Pay Scale: PB-2 Rs.9300-34800 + Grade Pay Rs.4200

Age Limit: 18-27 Years, Age relaxation for respective categories shall be as per rules.

3. Security Assistant Grade-II (to be filled from amonts Ex-Servicemen)

Vacancies: 2 Posts ST-2

Pay Scale: PB-2 Rs.9300-34800 + Grade Pay Rs.4200

Age Limit: 18-45 Years, Age relaxation for respective categories shall be as per rules.

4. Junior Library Assistant

Vacancies: 15 Posts UR-11, OBC-4

Pay Scale: PB-2 Rs.9300-34800 + Grade Pay Rs.4200

5. Junior Clerk

Vacancies: 23 Posts UR-20,OBC-1,SC-2

Pay Scale: PB-1 Rs.5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs.2400

Qualification: Candidates must possess Bachelor’ Degree in any discipline from a recognized university. Bachelor degree in Science for post 2, Intermediate (Class XII) for post 3,Bachelor degree in Library Science for post 4 and Minimum typing speed of 40 words per minute for post 5.

Selection Procedure: Candidates will be selected based on the performance in Written examination, Trade Test, Typing Test, Personnel interview.

3. Attach 2 self attested passport size photographs

4. Candidates super scribe the name of the post to be applied for on the envelope
