North Central Railway (NCR), Government of India, Indian Railways, Wagon Repair Workshop, Jhansi, UP-284003 Recruit Employment for the Group 'D' Posts against Sports Quota Cricket & Football Job Vacancies - February 2013

Applications are invited from eligible sports persons for filling up of the vacancies in Group D categories against Sports Quota Cricket & Football in North Central Railway (NCR), Wagon Repair Workshop, Jhansi. Employment Notice No.B-56 S/Sports/Recruitment/12-13, dated 27.12.2012

Discipline:

1. Cricket (M) - Wicket Keeper cum Batsman (1 Post)

2. Football (M) - Center Forward (1 Post)

Specialization: 2 Vacancies

Qualification: Passed Matriculation or ITI or equivalent. However as a special case, outstanding sports persons who are class 8th passed can be considered for recruitment in (-) IS Pay Band without any Grade pay.

Pay Band: Rs.5200-20200 Grade Pay: 1800 

Age Limit: 18 to 25 years, No age relaxation is permissible.

Processing Fee: Rs.40/-  A crossed Indian Postal Order/Bank Demand Draft drawn in favour of SPO, Workshop, North Central Railway, Jhansi payable at Jhansi.

Selection Process:

1. The candidates must be fulfilled minimum sports norms.

2. Candidates will be selected on the basis of marks obtained by the candidate, Interview / Trials in respective game.

3. The sportsperson shall fulfill the minimum medical norms for the post to which he may be appointed.

4. Medical fitness required in class Cey - Two.

5. The minimum qualifying marks shall be 60 marks out of maximum 100 marks.

6. Games skill, physical fitness & coach's observations during Trials 40 marks, Assessment of recognized sports achievements as per norms 50 marks, Educational qualification 5 marks and General intelligence / personality 5 marks.

How to apply:

1. Application should be filled by the candidate in his/her own handwriting in either English or in Hindi.

2. Application should be on a good quality A-4 size paper using one side only.

3. News paper cutting should not be used as an application.

4. Self attested photocopies of certificate of Date of birth, Educational qualification and achievements of sports events.

4. 2 passport size colour photograph should be pasted in the space provided on the application

5. Complete application should be sent by Ordinary post only 

6. The self addressed with Rs.25/- postage stamp affixed envelope size 12x27cms containing along with the application must be superscribed as "Application for Group 'D' Post against Sports Quota 2012-13 for ............. at Wagon Repair Workshop, Jhansi.

Photographs:

1. One Photo should be pasted in top of the application with Duly signed

2. Two Photo copies Stapled with the application.
