Universal Overseas Consultants (UOC) commenced its operations for local placements in the year 1993 in Chennai. Seeing a huge success in local placements, in the year 1995 we extended our placement services for overseas clients also. During the initial years we acted through agents, for recruiting manpower to their clients in Oil & Gas, Refineries, Petrochemical, Fertilizer and Power Sector. In 1998 we obtained Recruitment license from Ministry of Labour, Government of India and got ourselves accredited as a registered recruitment agency. Since then all overseas placements have been done in the banner of UOC. We have placed a considerable number of people in Oil and Gas, Petrochemical Industries, Refineries, Power Plants, Civil Construction Industries and Design and Engineering Fields. Our clients include major EPC and maintenance contractors registered with M/s. Petroleum Development of Oman (PDO), M/s. Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), M/s. Kuwait Oil Company, M/s. Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC) etc.
