Government of India, Ministry of Defence, Senior Quality Assurance Establishment (Armaments), Department of  Defence Production (DGQA), Cossipore, Kolkata, PIN-700002, West Bengal invites applications from eligible candidates for the Group 'C' post of Skilled Examiner, Fitter (Gen. Mech.), Machinist, Grinder, and Semi-Skilled Tradesman & Labour.

1. Examiner (13 Posts PH-1,OBc-4,SC-2,UR-6)

2. Fitter (Gen. Mech.) (1 Post UR-1) 

3. Machinist (1 Post UR-1)

4. Grinder (1 Post UR-1)

Pay Scale: Rs.5200-20200/- + Grade Pay Rs.1900/-

5. Semi-Skilled Tradesman (4 Posts OBC-1,SC-1,ST-1,UR-1)

6. Labour (2 Posts UR-2)

Pay Scale: Rs.5200-20200/- + Grade Pay Rs.1800/-

Qualification: Passed Matriculation or equivalent examination, NCVT Certificate in relevant trade failing which by ITI or equivalent Diploma/Certificate holder

Age Limit: 18-27 years. Age relaxation for respective categories shall be as per rules.

Selection Procedures:

1. Selection will be made strictly on the basis of merit.

2. The selection process will comprise of Written Test of 100 marks and Trade Test (Practical) 100 marks.

3. All eligible candidates will be called for an Objective Type Written Test

4. On the basis of merit of Written Test marks, candidates will called for Trade Test.

1. One Photo should be pasted in application with Duly signed

2. Two Photo copies Stapled with the application.

1.Applications are invited employment on A-4 plain paper duly typed on neatly handwritten in English in Block Capital letters as per the given proforma.

2.Application in the prescribed format duly filled in all respects along with attested copies ( By Gazetted Officer) of all the Essential and Desirable Qualification’s certificate.

5.Application forms must be filled either in English or Hindi. No other language will be acceptable.

6.One self addressed envelop 30 x 12 cm affixing with Rs.25/- postal stamps has to be attached along with application form.

2.SQAE(A) selection will be made Strictly Based on the Merit Position drawn from the Written Test & Trade Test of the candidates. 

3.The post reserved for PH will be filled in either of the relevant trades as per the availability and seniority as per overall merit.
