Cognizant is looking for passionate Java professionals to impart their working knowledge to some of our leading clients. Positions are based out of Hyderabad across multiple Business Units.

Desired Qualification : B.Tech/BE/M.Tech/MCA/M.Sc

Desired Experience : 6 to 8 Years (Mandatory)

Skills : JAVA/J2EE with Struts,Spring & Web Services

Mandatory :

• Should have worked on JAVA Basics, JSP, STRUTS Framework, Web services, ANT/MAVEN, UNIX, Design Patterns

• Should have some Knowledge of Websphere Application server (WAS any version), Database (either Oracle / DB2), SPRING Framework, MQ Series

• Should have led a team of atleast 7 to 10 people as a tech lead / Project lead or Project manager

• Should have had some exposure to Design

• Should have estimation experience scientific / non-scientific methods

• Should have very good knowledge on Software development life cycle.

• Should have very good written and spoken communication skills

Good to have, but not mandatory :

• Onsite exposure / direct client interfacing from offshore

• Industry standard certifications (SCJP, PMI etc..)

• Project Management experience

• Copies of certificates & mark sheets of all exams from 10th Std to highest level (Semester wise mark sheets are preferred)
