Government of India, Ministry of Defence, Central Ordnance Depot, Chheoki, Allahabad, PIN-212105 invites applications from eligible candidates for the Group 'C' Posts of Lower Division Clerk (LDC), Fireman, Civilian Motor Driver Ordinary Grade (CMD OG), Messenger & Mazdoor.

(A) Lower Division Clerk - LDC (2 Posts UR-1,OBC-1)

Pay Scale: PB-1 Rs.5200-20200/- + Grade Pay Rs.1900/-

Age Limit: 18 to 27 years, Age relaxation for respective categories shall be as per rules.

Qualification: 10th Pass Matriculation or equivalent qualification from any recognised Board or University.

Essential: Minimum Typing speed of 30 words per minute in English or 25 words per minute in Hindi on manual typewriter.

Selection Procedure: The selection of candidates will be short listed for written test / interview based on marks obtained in the minimum educational qualifications.

(B). Fireman (23 Posts UR-12,SC-3,OBC-8)

Pay Scale: Rs.5200-20200/- + Grade Pay Rs.1900/-

Qualification: Matriculation and equivalent examination from a recognized Board.

Age Limit: 18-27 Years, Age relaxation for respective categories shall be as per rules.

Selection Procedures:

Physical Standards: Must be Physically fit and capable of performing strenuous duties.

1. Height without shoes: 165 cms

2. Chest: Unexpanded-81.5cms, Expansion-85cms 

3. Weight: 50 kgs minimum

Endurance Test: 

1. Running 1.5 km run in 6 minutes

2. Carrying a man (Fireman lift of 63.5kgs to distance of 183 metres withing 96 seconds).

3. Clearing 2.7 metres wide ditch landing on both feet (Long Jump).

4. Climbing 3 metres vertical rope using Hands & Feet.

Other Test:

1. 2400 Mtrs Run

2. Sit Ups

3. Chin Ups

4. Oral Test

5. Medical Test

(C) Civilian Motor Driver-Ordinary Grade (5 Posts UR-3,SC-1,OBC-1)

Pay Scale: PB-1 Rs.5200–20200/- + Grade Pay Rs.1900/-

Qualification: Minimum Matriculation or equivalent.

Experience: Must possess a civil driving licence for driving heavy vehicles and 2 years experience on driving vehicles.

Age Limits: 18-27 Years, Age relaxation for respective categories shall be as per rules.

Selection Procedures: The selection of candidates will be based on Driving Test and Interview.

(D) Messenger (2 Posts UR-1,OBC-1)

Pay Scale: Rs.5200-20200/- + Grade Pay Rs.1800/-

Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent.

Desirable: Conversant with duties of a messenger with one year's experience in the trade. Experience Certificate duly attested is required to be attached.

Age Limit: 18-27 Years, Age relaxation for respective categories shall be as per rules.

Note: Capable for written examination as it involves induction to Group 'C' post.

(E). Mazdoor (20 Posts UR-10,SC-4,OBC-6)

Pay Scale: Rs.5200-20200/- + Grade Pay Rs.1800/-

Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent and Knowledge of Hindi

Age Limit: 18-27 Years, Age relaxation for respective categories shall be as per rules.

Essential: Physical Fitness - Must be physically fit and capable of performing strenuous duties and must have passed the test specified below (a) Passing a timed run (b) Physical endurance tests (c) Passing of Written Test

Endurance Test: To carry a bundle of 50 kgs fro a distance of 150 meters.

Note:

1. Physical Tests/Written Test/ Interview for all categories will be intimated in CALL LETTERS.

2. Applications are invited on plain paper duly typed on neatly handwritten.

3. Copies of certificate pertaining to Academic & Professional qualification, Date of Birth, Cast certificate, Domicile certificate, Medical certificate from a registered Medical Practitioner for physical standards duly attested by a Gazetted Officer must be enclosed with the application.

4. Application will be accepted only through Registered Post only.

5. Depot will not be responsible for any postal delay.

6. One Photo should be pasted in application with attested by Gazetted Officer/Notary Public.

7. Envelope should be clearly marked Application for the Post of ..................with categories.

8. Some vacancies are reserved for Ex-Servicemen, PH and Sportsman.
