ADDENDUM

The advertisement for filling up 70 semi skilled posts (Fitter, machinist, Welder, Moulder, Millwright, Electrician, Fitter(Electronics), Examiner(Metal) & Examiner(Engg) was published in the Employment News dated 29th Oct 2011 - 4th Nov 2011. However on receipt of clarification on educational qualification for direct recruitment to Semi skilled posts, the following Note is hereby added at the end of PARA 2 (C) (Educational Qualification) of the above said advertisement:-

Note: 1. The National Apprentice Certificate and national Trade Certificate issued by NCVT in the relevant trade shall be accepted as qualification for direct recruitment to semi skilled posts. Only when applicants with national Apprentice Certificate / National Trade Certificate issued by NCVT are not available, then  only applicants with ITI or equivalent diploma/ certificate holders will be considered. Further, degree and diploma in Engineering shall not be accepted as requisite qualification for recruitment to semi skilled posts.

2. Accordingly, the last date (Closing Date) of receipt of applications shall be 21st day (till 1700 hrs) from the date of publication of this Addendum in the Employment News/Rojgar Samachar, excluding the date of publication.

All other entries of the advertisement shall remain unchanged please.
