General Accountability :
The Technical Associate is responsible for providing support while handling all second level incoming calls, trouble tickets and emails , as well as resolving, troubleshooting, and/or following up on all issues with the correct technical solution for the customer. Technicians are required to document their actions (using internal tools), providing detailed notes on the calls and the issues presented, follow policies and procedures to ensure quick resolution for the customer, research answers to customer issues and escalate calls and tickets to other teams for their assistance, as required.
In addition, this position is also required to perform all other duties as required, to ensure timely and adequate problem resolution.
This role will have a higher visibility into the AT&T, and as such will have use of advance tools to troubleshoot and diagnose customer-impacting issues. Due to the access required for this position and increased customer exposure time excellent soft skills are required and technical skills are required.
Responsibilities :
Customer Focus
• Provide a professional, prompt and high level of technical support to all problems assigned.
• Maintain high level of customer satisfaction.
• Understand all Tier II & III procedures and rules of conduct.
• Make follow up calls to customers on outstanding issues within 24 hours - ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and confirm problem resolution on all issues.
• Escalate customer inquiries to Team Manager and/or Manager as required to ensure problem resolution in a timely manner.
