Project Directorate for Farming Systems Research (PDFSR) Invites applications from eligible candidates for the post of Research Associate (RA-NAIP) & Senior Research Fellowships (SRF-under NICRA) @ Walk in Interview on 11th April 2011 at 10am at Directorate Campus, Modipuram, Meerut (UP).

WALK-IN INTERVIEW

It is proposed to fill up one positions of Research Associate in i) NAIP funded project on Precision Farming technology based on microprocessor and decision support system for enhancing input application efficiency in production agriculture and three SRFs in Project ii) "National Initiative Climate Resilient Agriculture (NICRA)" on contractual basis from the candidates having following qualifications through Walk-in Interview on 11.04.2011 at 10.00 AM at Directorate Campus.

(A). Research Associate (RA) - NAIP

Eligibility: One having Master degree  preferably in soil science & agricultural chemistry or any discipline of science with two years experience in Remote Sensing/ GIS in the field of agricultural / research.

(B). Senior Research Fellowship (three) Under NICRA

Eligibility: One each having 1st class Master degree in i) Agronamy, (ii) Agro-meteorology/ Agricultural Physics/ Soil Physics and (iii) Soil Water conservation Engineering/ Irrigation Engineering/ Water Management/ M.Sc. Ag. in soil water conservation.

Emoluments: 

1. For post graduate Research Associate (RA): Rs.23000 and Rs.24000/- per month Ph.D holder and HRA admissible as per rule.

2. For Senior Research Fellowship (SRF): Rs.16000 per month and HRA as per rule.
