Various job vacancies in Machine Tool Prototype Factory, Ministry of Defence, Govt. of India, Ambarnath (Thane), Maharashtra invites applications from eligible candidates for the Post of Semi-Skilled,

1. Fitter (3 Posts Genl-3),

2. Machinist (2 Posts Genl-2)

3. Turner (1 Post Genl-1)

Pay Scale: Rs.5200-20200/- + Grade Pay Rs.1800/-

Qualification: Passed Matriculation or equivalent examination, NCVT Certificate in relevant trade failing which by ITI or equivalent Diploma/Certificate holder

Age Limit: 18-32 years

Selection Procedures:

1. Selection will be made strictly on the basis of merit.

2. The selection process will comprise of Written Test of 100 marks and Trade Test (Practical) 100 marks.

3. All eligible candidates will be called for an Objective Type Written Test

4. On the basis of merit of Written Test marks, candidates will called for Trade Test.

5. Trained Ex-Trade apprentices of MPF and sister Ordnance Factories shall be given preference in the order in which they are stated.
