(CFA) Cordite Factory, Aruvankadu, The Nilgiris-643202, Tamil Nadu, Government of India, Ministry of Defence invites job vacancy applications from the eligible candidates for the Group 'C' employment post of Ward Sahayak.
Ward Sahayak (3 Posts UR-2,OBC-1)
Pay Scale: Rs.5200-20200/- + Grade Pay Rs.1800/-
Qualification:
1. Must pass class 10th or equivalent examination of school
2. Knowledge of First-aid, Nursing and Ward procedure.
Age Limit: Not exceeding 27 Years, Age relaxation for respective categories shall be as per rules.
Selection Procedures:
Written Test Syllabus: Objective Type (2 Hrs)
1. General Intelligence
2. General Awareness
3. Technical Knowledge
Skill Test:
1. Only those candidates who attain a minimum-qualifying standard of 40% in the written examination will be eligible to be called for skill test. The candidates qualifying as above should be called for skill test subject to the condition that the total number of candidates called for skill test does not exceed five times the declared vacancies.
2. The skill test should be designed to test the practical ability and skill of the candidates in the following fields,
a) Bed making.
b) Condepts of transportation of sick and injured, carrying patients in trolley, stretcher wheel chair etc.
c) Sponging patients.
d) Practical knowledge of First-Aid, nursing and ward procedures.
e) Identification of simple hospital equipments and their uses.
f) Dressing simple wounds.
Application Fee: Rs.50/- DD or Postal Order drawn favour of The General Manager, Cordite Factory, Aruvankadu, Nilgiris District, Tamil Nadu-643202.

1. One Photo should be pasted in application with self attested.

1.Applications are invited on plain paper duly typed on neatly handwritten.
2.Copies of certificate pertaining to Academic & Professional qualification, Date of Birth and Cast certificate duly attested by a Gazetted Officer must be enclosed with the application.
3.Cordite Factory will not be responsible for any postal delay.
4.There will be no interview. Selection will be on the basis of Written Test and Skill Test only.
5.The envelope must be superscribed as 'Application for the Post of Ward Sahayak.
7.Cordite Factory also warned candidates to avoid any unscrupulous elements who may assure appointment in CFA by seeking bribe in cash or in kind or any other inducement, and are advised not to fall in their trap.
