Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI), Planning Commission, Government of India, Regional Officer Mumbai invites applications from eligible candidates for the Posts of Deputy Director, Section Officer, Assistants, Private Secretary and Personal Assistant on deputation basis.

1. Deputy Director (3 Posts)
Pay Scale: Rs.15600-39100/- + Grade Pay 6600/-
Desired Qualification: Excellent Computer Skills
Experience: Five years experience in Administration Establishment budgeting/procurement planning and policy formulation of Government schemes and projects.
Field of Selection: From the serving or retired Officers in Central Government/ State Government/ PSUs/ Autonomous Bodies.
2. Section Officer (2 Posts)
Pay Scale: Rs.9300-34800/- + Grade Pay Rs.4800/-
Desired Qualification: Excellent Computer Skills
Experience: Two year of experience in Administration/ Establishment/ budgeting/ procurement, planning and policy formulation of Government schemes and projects.
Field of Selection: From the serving or retired Officers in Central Government/ State Government/ PSUs/ Autonomous Bodies.
3. Assistants (2 Posts)
Pay Scale: Rs.9300-34800/- + Grade Pay Rs.4200/-
Desired Qualification: Excellent drafting, typing skills, Proficiency in computers.
Experience: Experience in handling Administrative matters.
Field of Selection: From the serving or retired Officers in Central Government/ State Government/ PSUs/ Autonomous Bodies.
4. Private Secretary (1 Post)
Pay Scale: Rs.9300-34800/- + Grade Pay Rs.4200/-
Desired Qualification: Good stenographic and typing skills Proficiency in handling computers.
Field of Selection: From the serving or retired Officers in Central Government/ State Government/ PSUs/ Autonomous Bodies.
5. Personal Assistant (5 Posts)
Pay Scale: Rs.9300-34800/- + Grade Pay Rs.4200/-
Desired Qualification: Good stenographic and typing skills Proficiency in handling computers.

Note:
1. Applicants must have extensive work experience in Maharashtra, Gujarat, or Goa.
2. Applicants must have good command over English language and one of the State languages - Marathi, Gujarathi & Konkani.
3. Applicant who has retired should not be more than 62 years on the 1.4.2011. Retired officer when selected will be appointed as Consultants of equivalent level and will be accordingly given responsibilities.
4. For serving or retired officers of PSUs and autonomous bodies, the pay scale equivalence shall be determined by the UIDAI based on duties and responsibilities attached to their posts held by them at the time of their retirement. The decision of Deputy Director General, RO, Mumbai shall be final in this regard.
5. The initial period of deputation shall be for three years extendable by a further period of two years as per GOI, DOPT OM No.2/29/91-Estt(Pay-II) dated 5.1.1994 as amended from time to time read with DOPT’s OM No. AB 14017/30/2006-Estt (RR) dated 29.11.2006.
6. The serving officials appointed in the UIDAI will be eligible for General pool Residential Accommodation at par with Central Government employees at Mumbai
7. Retired officers from Central Govt. /State Governments/ Central or State PSUs/ Central or state Autonomous Bodies can also apply. Their application & complete bio data should accompany the attested copies of Pension Pay Order. The retired officers when selected will be engaged as consultants which will be initially for a period of 2 years which can be extendable for 1 more year on the basis of requirement & performance. However, on the event of joining of a regular incumbent the period of contract will be terminated with one month’s notice. The consultant fees will be regulated as per the existing provisions of Govt. Of India.
