Job Vacancy in Naval Unit, Headquarters, Andaman & Nicobar Command, Port Blair, Govt. of India, invites applications from eligible candidates for the employment Post of Lower Division Clerks (LDC).

(LDC) Lower Division Clerks (15 Post UR-8,SC-2,ST-1,OBC-4)

Pay Scale: Rs.5200-20200/- + Grade Pay Rs.1900/-

Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent qualification from any recognised Board or University.

Essential:
1. Minimum Typing speed of 30 words per minute in English or 25 words per minute in Hindi on manual typewriter.
2. Typing speed of 35 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi on Computer.

Desirable: Basic knowledge in Computer

Age Limit: 18-27 years, Age relaxation for respective categories shall be as per rules.

1. Applications duly typed in A4 paper neatly hand written in the prescribed format.
2. Applications submitted with attested copies of the relevant certificates, Educational Qualification, Proof of Date of Birth, Caste Certificate, Mark Sheet.
3. Application sent along with self addressed envelope of size 23x13cm with postage stamp of Rs.10/-.
4. The envelope containing the application should be superscribed by "Application for the post of Lower Division Clerk, Category UR/SC/ST/OBC/PWED/Ex-Serviceman (As applicable) and Advt. No. 01/2011

Selection Procedures: The selection of candidates will be based on merit list drawn on the basis of  Written Examination, Screening Test and Interview.

Note:
1. Persons with disabilities can also apply for the unreserved posts of Lower Division Clerk.
2. Candidates are required to submit a self addressed envelope of size 30cms X 12cms with Rs.5/- postage stamp affixed on it along with the application.
3. Photographs must be pasted on the application, hall ticket and must be duly attested by a Gazetted Officer.
4. The prescribed essential qualifications are the minimum and the mere possession of the same does not entitle candidates to be called for test / interview.
5. The incumbent on recruitment will be on probation for 2 years
6. Selected candidates will be liable to serve anywhere in India.
