Governmental of India Press, Santragachi, Howrah, PIN-711112 invites applications for the Apprenticeship Training of the following Trades under Apprenticeship Act, 1961 in this office, the number of vacancies are given below against the Trades. Session commencing from April 2011.
1. Book Binder (56 Posts UR-28,SC-8,ST-4,OBC-15,PH-1)
No of Posts: 56 Nos. of Apprentices to be engaged
Course: 2 Years
Qualification: Matriculation/ Madhyamik/ Ex-ITI passed or its equivalents.
2. Electrician (2 Posts UR-2)
No of Posts: 2 Nos. of Apprentices to be engaged
Course: 1 Year (as 3rd Year)
Qualification: Ex-ITI passed in electrician/ Electronics trade and 10th class under 10+2 system with Science or equivalent.
3. Offset Machine Minder (12 Posts UR-8,SC-1,OBC-3)
No of Posts: 12 Nos. of Apprentices to be engaged
Course: 3 Years
Qualification: 10+2 Standard i.e. Higher Secondary/ Intermediate passed with Physics & Chemistry as subjects or its equivalents.
4. Pasaa (4 Posts UR-3,OBC-1)
No of Posts: 4 Nos. of Apprentices to be engaged
Course: 1 Year (as 3rd Year)
Qualification: Ex-ITI passed in any trade of Computer trades group and 10+2 standard i.e. Higher Secondary/ Intermediate passed.
5. Mechanic Machine Tools Maintenance (2 Posts UR-2)
No of Posts: 2 Nos. of Apprentices to be engaged
Course: 1 Year (as 3rd Year)
Qualification: Ex-ITI passed in Mechanic Machine Tools Maintenance trade and 10+2 standard i.e. Higher Secondary/ Intermediate passed with Physics & Chemistry as subjects or its equivalents.
6. Plate Maker - Lithography (4 Posts UR-3,OBC-1)
No of Posts: 4 Nos. of Apprentices to be engaged
Course: 3 Years
Qualification: Matriculation/ Madhyamik passed under 10+2 system with Physics & Chemistry as subjects or its equivalents.
Other Important Information:
Age Limit: Not less than 14 years as on 01.04.2011
Contract of Apprenticeship:
1. Every candidate/ Applicant (in case of Minor his/her Guardian) shall have to execute of apprenticeship contract with the Employer in prescribed form. The contract of Apprenticeship Training will be imparted in response of contract. Manager has sole discretionary power to cancel whole or part of applications received for such engagement.
2. It shall not be obligatory on the part of Employer to offer any employment to the Apprentices to accept any employment under any Employer during the Training period or after.
3. No Govt. accommodation facility will be provided if selected for training.
4. No TA/DA will be provided for interview to the suitable applicants.
Stipend:
1. First year : Rs.1490/- Per Month.
2. Second year: Rs.1700/- Per Month.
3. Third year : Rs.1970/- Per Month.
How to Apply:
1. Application should be made in plain paper neatly typed along with 3 copies of passport size recent photographs and attested copies of relevant certificates is support for applied trade age and castes.
2. Out of 3 copies one copy should be pasted in top right hand corner of application.
3. The filled in applications may also be dropped in the Box kept in this Press premises.
4. Prescribed Proforma for submission who intend to apply directly; Name (in BLOCK letters), Father's Name, Correspondence address, Date of Birth, Whether SC/ST/OBC/PH, Educational qualification and other qualification (If necessary)
