Brahmaputra Valley Fertilizer Corporation Ltd, emerged as a new Company in 2002 after its de-merger from Hindustan Fertilizer Corporation Ltd. The production units of the Corporation situated in Namrup, Assam have been revamped and modernized recently. BVFCL having two Ammonia and two Urea plants in operation with total production capacity of 5.55 lakh MT of Urea per annum invites applications from Indian nationals for the following posts,
1. Lady Medical Officer (Obs. & Gynaecology) (1 Post)
Pay Scale: Rs.10750-300-16750/- (Pre-revised).Gross emolument per month Rs.31000/- (Aprrox)
Job Requirement: The incumbent shall be responsible for overall functioning of Obs. & Gynaecology department and administering the total health care facility, attending patients both indoor and outdoor of BVFC Hospital during routine and emergency hours.
Qualification: MBBS with post graduate degree or diploma in Obs.& Gynaecology
Experience: Minimum 05 years post qualification experience after MBBS of which 02 years experience for PG degree and 03 years for PG diploma holders in specialty is essential.
Age Limit: Maximum 40 Years
2. Medical Officer (General Physician) (1 Post)
Pay Scale: Rs.10750-300-16750/- (Pre-revised).Gross emolument per month Rs.31000/- (Approx)
Job Requirement: To administer after the total health care facility, attending patients both indoor and outdoor at BVFC hospital during routine and emergency hours.
Qualification: MBBS or MBBS with PG degree
Experience: Minimum 05 or 03 years post qualification experience respectively in hospital/ Nursing home of repute.
Age Limit: Maximum 40 Years
3. Asstt. Medical Officer (General Physician) (1 Post)
Pay Scale: Rs.8600-250-14600/- (Pre-revised). Gross emolument per month Rs.25000/- (Approx)
Job Requirement: To administer after the total health care facility, attending patients both indoor and outdoor at BVFC hospital during routine and emergency hours.
Qualification: MBBS with post graduate degree or MBBS
Experience: Minimum 02 years post qualification experience in hospital / Nursing home of repute.
Age Limit: Maximum 35 Years

1. Applications duly typed in A4 paper neatly hand written in the prescribed format.
2. Applications submitted with attested copies of the relevant certificates, Educational Qualification, Proof of Date of Birth, Sports Certificates, Caste Certificate, Mark Sheet.

Note:
1. All qualification must be recognized by the Indian Medical Councils.
2. Reservation of post /relaxation in age etc. for SC/ST/OBC (non creamy layer)/PH and Ex- Serviceman candidates shall be as per the Government of India directives.
3. BVFCL reserves the right to offer immediate lower posts in case, candidates not found suitable for the advertised/applied post.
4. Applications not as per prescribed format will be summarily rejected. An application not accompanied by relevant certificate(s)/document(s)/photographs etc wherever necessary or requisites fee or not in prescribed format or not signed by the candidate or incomplete in any respect will not be entertained.
5. Mere eligibility will not vest any right on any candidate to be called for interview for any post .The Corporation reserves the right to restrict the eligible candidates to be called for interview to a reasonable limit on the basis of convenient norms that may be decided by the Corporation.
