Andhra Bank Proposed Recruitment of 1000 Clerks Posts and 450 Posts of Probationary Officers in JMGS-I


Andhra Bank invites applications from Indian Citizens for the post of 1000 Clerks (Pay Scale - Rs.7200–19300) and 450 Probationary Officers in Junior Management Grade Scale-I (Pay Scale - Rs.14500–25700) Pay scale plus DA, HRA, CCA as per rules in force from time to time. 

Candidates are requested to apply ONLY through online between 25.01.2011 and 22.02.2011 and advised to follow the sequence of steps given in Andhra Bank’s website http://andhrabank.in

Online Registration:
1. Opening Date: 25.01.2011
2. Closing Date: 22.02.2011
3. Date of Written Examination:  for Clerks - 15.05.2011 and for Probationary Officers - 08.05.2011

Qualifications:
1. Clerks: Graduation in any discipline from any recognized University or 10 + 2 Examination or equivalent with First Class with 60% marks. Candidate should know to Read, Write & Speak the Official Language of the State/UT for which she/he chooses to apply.
2. Probationary Officers: Graduation in any discipline with I class with 60% marks OR equivalent CGPA from any University recognized by UGC or equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Government of India.

Age Limits:  The age limit will be for clerks 18-28 years and Probationary Officers 21-30 years, and will be reckoned as on 31.12.2010.

Application Fee:
(a) For Clerks - Rs 250/-
(b) For Probationary Officers - Rs 400/-

Selection Process:
The written test will comprise for Clerks Test of Clerical Aptitude. English Language, Test of Numerical Ability & Test of Reasoning and for Probationary Officers Objective Tests on Test of Reasoning Ability, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness with special reference to Banking Industry, Computer Knowledge & English Language.

Note:  
1. For the post of Probationary Officers and Clerks the final Selection will be made on the basis of Marks obtained in Written Test and Interview.

4. Candidates should not send the printout of the online application to the Andhra Bank and should submit the candidate’s copy of Payment Receipt along with the call letter at the time of written examination failing which the candidate will not be admitted for the written examination.
5. The Andhra Bank reserves the right to alter written examination date and / or alter /add written examination centre under unforeseen circumstances, if any.
