1. Facilities Planning Engineer - Utilities

Position Description: The Facilities Planning Department is responsible for the development and coordination of the clients Capital Investment Program. The successful candidate will be part of the Utilities Group within the Automation & Power Facilities Planning Division, which is a component of the Facilities Planning Department.  The Utilities Group is responsible for all non-electrical utility projects, including process utilities, water, and wastewater capital projects. Typical projects include saline water desalination, boiler feed water demineralization and steam production, fire suppression water systems for Company communities and industrial facilities, drainage of storm water, oily wastewater, and fire suppression water as well as handling of flammable waste hydrocarbon liquids and solids. In addition, the utilities planning engineer is responsible for industrial and sanitary wastewater treatment and effluent disposal projects. The successful applicant must be specialized and have experience in several areas of these disciplines and must be able to work and cooperate with team members to complement their knowledge.

Education: B.S. in Chemical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering. An advanced degree in Environmental Engineering or Engineering Economics would be advantageous.

Experience: Fifteen (15) years of relevant experience, covering engineering consultancy, design development and construction management.  Strong negotiation skills to achieve consensus amongst stakeholders  Proven ability to develop technical reports and deliver presentations to senior management  Thorough knowledge of engineering practices, economic principles, International Industry Codes, Standards and Specifications.

Language Requirements: Fluent in English.
