Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) advised eligible and interested candidates would be required to apply online only through SAIL’s website for their requirements.
How to Apply:
1. Eligible and interested candidates are required to apply only through SAIL Website www.sail.co.in
2. Before registering the application on the website, the candidate should possess:
a. Valid e-mail ID, which is valid for at least for an year.
b. Scanned passport size colour photo and signatureof size less than 500kb and in jpg/jpeg format.
3. The online registration would be open from 03/05/2013 to 08/06/2013
4. All information regarding examination schedule / admit card / interviews etc. shall be provided through website (www.sail.co.in) or email. Therefore candidates are advised to be in touch with webpage from time to time.
5. Flow Chart for on-line registration:
1. Go to www.sail.co.in
2. Click on ‘Careers with SAIL’ at bottom left
3. Click on jobs at SAIL
4. Click on the job you want to apply
5. Read all the information indicated in the advertisement regarding the job then click Apply Now
6. Fill in all the information as required in application from
7. Click ‘preview application’
8. Check all the information you filled, if you find any red ink remarks, you have to correct the field and then click‘submit’.
9. If you are required to correct the data which was indicated in red ink, then you have to re-load/upload the photograph and signature again before clicking ‘submit’.
10. After submission, you will be shown an Registration Number which should be noted carefully as all future log in is possible only with this Registration number.
11. There will be two options; confirm payment and SBI challan. If you want to proceed further, click SBI Challan.
12. Click on ‘Print Challan’ and take print out of ‘Bank Challan
13. Then go to the any of the SBI branch which is having core banking facilities and submit the application fee/processing fee and bank charges and bank will indicate the journal number, Bank code and date of receipt on the challan receipt.
14. Come back to SAIL Website, www.sail.co.in , click ‘Careers with SAIL’ and click on ‘log in’ which isavailable on the right side of the page with heading ‘Registered Applicant’.
15. Enter Registration No.(Which is available on bank challan and sent on Your e-mail entered in application form) and password<Date of Birth> which you have entered while submitting the application form.
16. Click on ‘Payment details’.
17. Enter all the details, as asked, in the form and ‘submit’. Candidate can take the print out of Registration Slip.
18. Registered candidates will go to ‘log in’ by entering Registration No. and DOB , they can download their admit card, interview card etc.
