Greater Chennai Corporation - Public Health Department recruit candidates for the follwing post,
1. Field Supervisor
Number of vacancies: 21
Salary: Rs.10,000/-
Educational Qualification/requirements: Intermediate (10+2) and Diploma or certified course in Auxiliary Nurse Midwife (ANM)/Nursing Assistant or equivalent.
Preferential Qualification:
1. One year experience in RNTCP.
2. Candidates with higher qualification (for example Graduates with Health sciences) shall be preferred.
Job Specification/ responsibilities:
1. Conduct TB screening in communities and find symptomatics. Refer symptomatics found to Mobile Diagnostic Units (MDU) for X-Ray and sputum collection.
2. Support other health workers in sensitization of communities on TB
3. Assist with sample collection and transport to health facilities for diagnosis
4. Support data collection and reporting activities
5. Prepare and submit periodic field monitoring and sample collection reports to program manager
6. Assist with patient notification and referral to respective health facilities
7. Assist the DTO in establishing TB Surveillance systems (TB Case Notification activities, ICT)
8. Maintain relevant records.
9. Enter data into the mobile apps regularly.
10. Any other job assigned as per programme need.
