Velammal Engineering Educational Trust invites for its Transport Department with a fleet of 30 Vehicles for the following positions,

1. General Manager

Eligibility: The incumbent should have a minimum experience of 20 years in handling 100 to 200 vehicles in its daily operations, maintenance, complying with statutory and efficient functioning of the transport depot.

Package: Rs.6-9 Lakhs

2. Works Manager

Eligibility:

1. A versatile Engineer with sound technical knowledge and expertise in maintenance of heavy vehicles and light motor vehicles.

2. Minimum experience of 10 years is essential.

Package: Rs.5-8 Lakhs

3. Operations Manager

Eligibility:

1. The job involves daily operation such as manpower allotment, trip / route fixation, monitoring of fuel consumption, trip sheets and effective functioning.

2. Minimum experience of 10 years in similar environment is essential.

Package: Rs.4-7 Lakhs

4. Transport Officer

Eligibility:

1. Personnel with a minimum experience of 10 years in field.

2. Experience in handling vehicle on road inspection, fitness certificate, RTO norms, insurance and other statutory requirements.

Pakage: Rs.4-7 Lakhs

5. Chauffeur / Head Driver

Eligibility: Driver with experience in driving top end cars / heavy vehicles.

Package: Rs.1.5-2 Lakhs
